SUMMARY:Lyrics & Literature with Narrative
DESCRIPTION:A small group session where we will explore song lyrics and stories and our connection to them \nJoin us for a relaxed and supportive small-group session exploring the relationship between music and literature using a shared reading approach. Through song lyrics and texts\, the session invites conversation and creative engagement. \nShared reading is about connection and engagement – not accuracy or analysis. Readers of all abilities are welcome\, and no previous experience is needed. \nThis space is inclusive\, non-judgemental\, and open to all. \nThe session will take place in The Green Room at The Standard\, 135 High Street\, Dumfries. This room is accessed via The Standard Close. The venue has step free access and accessible toilets. \nThis free event is run by Midsteeple Quarter and Narrative\, supported by Dumfries & Galloway council. Narrative is an emerging shared reading organisation based in Dumfries and Galloway\, dedicated to helping people engage with literature in meaningful and therapeutic ways.
