The party will offer the chance to learn more about the books\, talk to the author and have a drink and some snacks while listening to some readings from the trilogy of novels. DESCRIPTION:FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE NEW COMMUNITY ENERGY LAUNCHPAD IN DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY  \nRosie Brown from Community Energy Scotland has recently joined D&G Climate Hub and is the Community Energy Officer responsible for supporting community groups in Dumfries and Galloway with Community Energy projects.   \nRosie’s appointment coincides with the launch of the new Community Energy Launchpad\, hosted by Dumfries and Galloway Climate Hub. \nIf you are part of a community group curious about renewable energy\, but not sure where to start\, get in touch with Rosie or come along to one of the workshops in Thornhill or Newton Stewart in early February. \nWhether you’re exploring solar panels\, community wind\, or shared ownership\, the Launchpad can help your group get “project ready” and confident to move forward.  \nEmail: rosie.brown@communityenergy.scot  \nThe Scottish Government’s Community and Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES) provides funding and support to help communities benefit from the transition to net zero. The scheme is delivered by CARES at Local Energy Scotland.
