More Info & Booking

THE SILENCE OF SNOW: THE LIFE OF PATRICK HAMILTON is a solo performance by Mark Farrelly. He vividly portrays the life of Patrick Hamilton, a successful but troubled writer. One of the notable English writers of the 1930’s, Hamilton produced hit plays (Gaslight and Rope) and classic novels. He invented the term “gaslighting”.
The play explores Hamilton’s struggles with alcoholism, his relationships, and his literary career, ultimately examining the human condition and the challenges of self-knowledge.
Set in an electro-therapy clinic in the 1950’s, it captures Hamilton’s inner turmoil and the impact of his work on his life. The performance is noted for its emotional depth and Farrelly’s ability to convey Hamilton’s complex character through a mix of humour and tragedy.

Doors open at 7 pm for a 7.30 start. Bar available.
