The Murray Arms Quiz Nights

The Murray Arms in Gatehouse of Fleet is calling all trivia lovers, quick thinkers and teams of friends to their new Quiz Nights, held every second Wednesday in the heart of the town.
With the quiz kicking off at 8.30pm, these evenings bring together general knowledge, friendly competition and plenty of laughs!
New for 2026 is the Winter Quiz League, a six-week competition where teams of up to four go head-to-head across a series of quiz nights, all aiming to win the brand-new Bard’s Brain Bowl. The trophy has never been won before, and one sharp-minded team will be crowned champions at the final quiz night of the league.
The Winter Quiz League runs on:
14th & 28th January, 11th & 25th February, and 11th & 25th March, giving teams six chances to score points, climb the leaderboard and battle it out for bragging rights.
Taking part costs just £2 per person, with weekly prizes up for grabs along the way, making it an easy and affordable way to enjoy a great midweek night out with friends. Teams can include up to four players, keeping things competitive.
For those arriving early, comforting winter favourites will be available from 8pm, including mac ’n’ cheese and chips with curry sauce – perfect fuel for an evening of brainpower.
Walk-ins are welcome, or teams can sign up in advance online.
