Fact or Fake: Empower Yourself and Others Against Misinformation?

This event includes a free digital skills session organised by researchers from the University of Glasgow, Middlesex University, and the London School of Economics. Participants will learn simple, practical skills to identify misinformation online and evaluate the reliability of information they see on social media. The skills session will take about one hour. Interested people will be invited to attend in one of the following formats: an in-person workshop in Dumfries, a Live online webinar, or short online training videos.
Participation is free. Everyone who registers will be entered into a prize draw to win a £300 Amazon voucher. Participants may also receive a certificate of participation.
