Here he also narrates the poignant story of two boys growing to manhood in 1920’s Montana and the ties that bind them as they seek separate destinies.

Stars Tom Skerritt, a young Brad Pitt and UK’s Brenda Blethyn and Emily Lloyd.

The film won the Oscar for the stunning photography of the scenes along the river.
