Catriona Hewitson- Soprano with Javier Ucendo Piano

Edinburgh-born soprano Catriona is a winner of the Kathleen Ferrier Loveday Song prize and a Scottish Opera Emerging artists and named as one of Opera Now’s Hot List Young Artists in 2022.
Javier combines work as a accompanist and répétiteur with his work as vocal coach at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and was the Scottish Opera Emerging Artist pianist for seasons 23-25.

It is a varied and beautiful programme – including Liddell’s arrangement from The Kindling Fire by Robert Burns, Strauss’s ‘Mädchenblumen’, Britten’s Folksong selection including “The Salley Gardens”, The Bonny Earl o’ Moray and Schumann ‘Frauenliebe und Leben’ Op. 42.
