Bat Night (talk and walk) at Mersehead
Fri 4 September @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

BOOKING ESSENTIAL (limited spaces)
Bats are often misunderstood and less well known as birds are. Yet, they are pretty awesome and useful creatures. Join us for an evening of discovering more about bats here in South Scotland and have a go at identifying them.
This event will begin with a short illustrated talk, before going out to find some with bat detectors and infra-red cameras. We will provide a limited number of IR cameras and bat detectors but bring a torch if you have one.
There is no age limit to this event but please note that spaces are limited and would not be suitable for young children (under 7 years).
There are various charges (for RSPB members, non-members, adults/children) for people attending this event.
Please note, as the reserve location is prone to flooding, we ask that all individuals/groups attending provide a telephone number, so we can notify you in advance if the event is cancelled. Families welcome (though not suitable for early years). Walk will take place along wheelchair accessible routes.
